Blend the butter and sugar in a food processor until smooth and creamy. Add the eggs, flour and yogurt and blend again. - Butter and flour your pan. Preheat oven to 200°C.
- Sift flour, baking soda, caster sugar. Add regular sugar whisk and set aside.

- Whisk wet ingredients into flour mixture until just combined. Pour into prepared tin and bake for 50mins or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Leave cake to cool in the pan for 10mins. Remove and leave to cool completely.
- To decorate, slice the cake into two eqaul halves if you baked in one pan.
- Put a dollop of whip cream on your board, take the top half and place it bottom down on the cake board. Add a layer of whipped cream then some strawberry jam. Add some strawberries that are halved.
- Add the other half bottom up. In the centre add more whipped cream, spread slightly then add whole strawberries. Put icing sugar in a sieve and dust lightly on top of the strawberries. Chill for a bit or you can serve immediately. Enjoy.
I combined sliced strawberries (a dab of sugar or sugar substitute to control any tartness) with strawberry preserves and added chopped walnuts.
