I followed one reviewer's recommendation and used wine vs. vinegar and the only addition was I added sum fresh chopped parsley to the melted butter when adding wet ingredients to the flour when making the dumplings. - Using a tablespoon drop the dumpling batter into the pot one by one. Sprinkle with the parsley. Cover again with the lid and allow to simmer for another 15 minutes. Allow to rest for 10-15 minutes before serving..
Meanwhile, place the chicken, ginger, hoisin sauce, garlic chives, dark soy sauce and black vinegar in a bowl and mix with your hands to combine.
